Answer:

63%

Step-by-step explanation:

To convert fractions to decimals:

Divide the top of the fraction by the bottom

he got \frac{126}{200} so

126÷200=0.63

To convert decimals to percentages:

multiply by 100 and add a "%" sign.

0.63×100=63%

How to estimate 9.1% of 59.3
gavmur [86]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

For a quick rough estimate, I'd round 9.1% up to 10% and 59.3 to 60.  10% of 60 is 0.1(60) = 6.

For a more accurate estimate, round 9.1% down to 9% and 59.3 up to 60.  Then 9% of 60 is 5.4.

I think of a number and add one fourth of it to half of it and the result is twelve. What is the number I thought of?
belka [17]

Suppose that the number u were thinking about is x thus :

\frac{1}{4} x +  \frac{1}{2} x = 12 \\

Multiply both sides by 4

4 \times ( \frac{1}{4} x +  \frac{1}{2} x) = 4 \times 12 \\

x + 2x = 48

3x = 48

Divide both sides by 3

\frac{3x}{3}  =  \frac{48}{3  }  \\

x = 16
