∠TAC = ∠ABC  (The angle between the chord and the tangent is equal to the angle in the alternate segment)

Since, EDCB is a cyclic quadrilateral,

A block of ice melts 8oz every 5 minutes it began melting at 8:00am weighing 250 pounds at what specific time will it be complet
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

1:40 am the next day

Step-by-step explanation:

1 pound = 16 oz

The block of ice melts 1 pound or 16 oz in 10 minutes

10 x 250 = 2,500

It will take 2,500 minutes to melt completely.

2,500 divided by 60 = 41.66666 or 41 hours and 40 minutes

60 minutes = 1 hour

1 day = 24 hours                    41.6666666 - 24 = 17.6666666

8 am + 17 hours and 40 minutes = 1:40 am the next day
