  • First, take 35 away from both preferences to work out the amount of people who ONLY LIKE 1 GENRE.

       FROCKS: 65 - 35 = 30 people

       MODERN: 55 - 35 = 20 people

  • This means that 30 people like frock, 20 people like modern and 35 like both; this means <u>85 people liked at least 1 of the 2 genres.</u>
  • Take this away from 100 to work out how many people liked NOTHING:

        100 - 85 = <u>15 people</u>
