You may have heard of at least one of these two great authors at one point, because they're both very well known. Jane Austen and Lousia May Alcott were both authors and both of the gothic persuasion, however, Alcott did also write a lot of family stories. Austen has written at least twelve books while Alcott has written seven. Both authors began writing in the 1800s, Austen however, began sooner publishing her first book in 1811 whilst Alcott published her first book in 1854. Both authors are widely regarded as the mothers of all girl's books. They differ and are alike in many ways but one

thing they will always be at a tie in is the title of great author, a thing they both were and shall always be remembered as.
