There are three soma types: endomorph, ectomorph, and mesomorph. Generally, an ectomorph is characterized by a rectangular shaped, slim body and a young appearance; an endomorph is characterized by a excess body fat, little to no muscle tone, and often a short neck; a mesomorph is characterized by broad shoulders, lean muscles, small waist, and large bones (it is an athletic build).
