Answer: the total amount of peas collected is 129,600 peas

Step-by-step explanation:

We have 9 workers, and we know that each worker picks 2400 pea pods per day. We also know that each pea pod contains 6 peas, and we want to know how many peas are collected every day.

each worker collects 2400 pea pods, and each pea pod has 6 peas, so each worker collects:

2400*6 = 14,400 peas

And we have 9 workers, so the total amount of peas collected is:

9*14,400 = 129,600 peas

This  = number of pea pods times number of peas in the pea pod times  number of workers

    2400 * 6 * 9 =   129,600 peas.

Well you can always start by dividing with the simplest number which is two.
Divide as many times as need
Last I checked it was divide 2 from 40, 3 times to get the answer of 5 and then divide 16 the same amount of times for the answer of 2

The answer would be I'm assuming 5 : 2

an art teacher has 1 1/2 pounds of red clay and 3/4 pound of yellow clay. The teacher mixes the red clay and yellow clay together
Nataly [62]
Well, seeing as how she mixed the clay, she has a total of 2 2/8 pounds clay (unsimplified). Although we don't know how many students she has in one class, with simple division of this number we can figure out how many student can finish the project. Removing the 2/8, we can already tell 2 students can do it, so that's a start. Now to divide the 2 pounds into 8ths. Each pound is enough for 8 students, so the 2 pounds totals to 16. Now add the extra 2 students, it's 18 total students. Hope I explained it well enough!
