Answer:

1.014*10^35

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following geometric sequence

a_1 = \frac{-1}{3} \\a_i = a_{i-1}*(-3)

Sum of nth term of the GP is expressed as;

S_n = \frac{a(1-r^n)}{1-r}

a = -1/3

n = 75

r = a2/a1

a2 = -3a1

a2 = -3(-1/3)

a2 = 1

r = 1/(-1/3)

r = -3

Substitute the given values in the formula;

S_n = \frac{-1/3(3^{75} - 1)}{3-1}\\S_n = \frac{3^{75}-1}{-6} \\S_{75} = 1.014*10^{35}

Hence the sum of the first 75 terms is 1.014*10^35

What is the inverse of the function f(x) = 2x – 10? A. h(x) = 2x - 5
Licemer1 [7]

Answer:

f^-1(x)=1/2x+5

Step-by-step explanation:

y=2x-10

inteechange 'y' with 'x'

x=2y-10

make 'y' the subject

2y=x+10

divide by 2both sides

y=(x+10)÷2

y=1/2x+5

f^-1(x)=1/2x+5

What is the radius in centimeters of a circle that has a circumference of 16 centimeters
Whitepunk [10]
If I did this correctly all you hade to do is work in reverse.
1.) Divide 16 by pi (3.14) To get the diameter.16/ 3.14 =5.095541401 or 5.1
2.) Since Diameter is just the radius doubled divide 5.1 by 2. 5.1 /2 = 2.55
3.) Plug it in, use the 2pir equation to see if it works.  2X3.14X2.55= 16.014 or 16.
                     I hope this helps, let me know if you need further explanation.
