minutes 2x per week. When he swims his heart rate is 135 bpm. When he bikes his heart rate is 110 bpm.

• Calculate his target heart rate (Threshold/Ceiling).


• Which exercise should he do more of to maintain his cardiorespiratory endurance. Why? How can he intensify the other exercise to elevate his heart rate past his threshold?
