How can a reader use his or her understanding of theme or central idea to summarize a text objectively?
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

Students must understand that there is no single theme to any piece of literature.  The more complex the literature, the more possible themes there are. Authors will help students read between the lines for the theme, either through motifs or dominant ideas that are repeated throughout the story. You have to understand the basics of the characterization, plot and other literary elements that are included in the story that you are reading.

Read the excerpts, paying special attention to the underlined sections. How does the theme differ in the two excerpts?
lbvjy [14]
Okay, so this is a little hard to answer when you do not have the excerpts, but I will try my best to work a answer out of the headings.  I think your answer would be C. It makes sense, the info that comes after the titles, so If I were you I would go with C.

I hope that helps.

Why is there a great unrest in the modern world
coldgirl [10]

The first main phase of the 'Great Unrest' began with the rapid escalation of discontent in the South Wales oalfields. In this area wages were fixed not by individual or collective bargaining but by the price of coal. ... Discontent also simmered around the issue of 'small coal'.
