Why do hevier objects fall more slowly than lighter objects
Delicious77 [7]

Actually, heavier objects fall faster. The difference is infinitesimal, but there is a tiny difference because more mass causes objects to fall faster (e.g. objects fall faster on earth than on the moon). On earth, the different rate of fall between heavier and lighter objects is negligible (because objects are tiny compared to the earth's mass), so objects of different weights fall at virtually the same rate. But not at exactly the same rate. Objects of different weights must accelerate at different rates because accel.

What is elastic rebound???
Darya [45]

In geology, the elastic-rebound theory is an explanation for how energy is released during an earthquake. As adjoining plates on the Earth's surface move in opposite directions, the rocks which span the opposing sides of the incipient fault are subjected to extreme shear stress.

In some trees and shrubs, competition among seedlings causes individuals to be spaced relatively evenly throughout the habitat.
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

The correct answer is option D, that is regular or uniform.

Explanation:

The individuals in a population can be spaced in a distinct manner known as the dispersion patterns. The most common arrangement is the clumped dispersion in which these individuals are clustered together. In random dispersion, the individuals are aligned randomly, and in uniform or regular dispersion, the individuals are spaced evenly.

The given case is an illustration of regular or uniform distribution. It is less common in comparison to clumped distribution. The pattern of uniform or regular distribution is witnessed in the populations of the species in which the distance between the adjacent individuals is enhanced. The requirement to enhance or increase the space between the individuals usually originates due to competition for a resource like nutrients or moisture.
