Read the passage carefully. The Yangtze River is south of the Yellow River and flows in the same direction (west to east). It is

3,988 miles long and is the third longest river in the world. Just like the Yellow River, the Yangtze played an important role in the development of the culture and civilization of ancient China. Farmers that lived along the Yangtze River took advantage of the warm climate and rainy weather to grow rice. Eventually the land along the Yangtze became some of the most important and wealthy land in all of ancient China. – “Ancient China: Geography,” Ken Nelson What conclusion about the influence of the Yellow and Yangtze Rivers does the passage best support? They limited the expansion of Chinese culture. They encouraged the growth of the Chinese civilization. They made the people of ancient China dependent on rice. They prevented the development of economic activities other than farming.

What was the main idea behind the domino theory?
Ratling [72]
<span>The domino theory, which governed much of U.S. foreign policy beginning in the early 1950s, held that a communist victory in one nation would quickly lead to a chain reaction of communist takeovers in neighboring states. In Southeast Asia, the United States government used the domino theory to justify its support of a non-communist regime in South Vietnam against the communist government of North Vietnam, and ultimately its increasing involvement in the long-running Vietnam War (1954-75). In fact, the American failure to prevent a communist victory in Vietnam had much less of a global impact than had been assumed by the domino theory. Though communist regimes did arise in Laos and Cambodia after 1975, communism failed to spread throughout the rest of Southeast Asia.
I hope this was of help.

Reika [66]
It sadly had ended in violence///:
At least 34 were noted as killed, while the leader Eugene V. Debs had gotten arrested. It was a big mess, and it was all because the federal troops had gotten involved.
