Who can tell me the half reaction about cucumber battery
xeze [42]
I've prepared some analysis and cucumbers do have many comparable properties to potatoes, tomatoes, and lemons, all of which I know do work. So I would presume that cucumbers would also work. I would recommend trying it yourself to perceive. I'd love to hear the outcomes of your experiment. ;)

Which type of intermolecular or interatomic force does methylated spirits fall under?
Triss [41]

Of all the substances used, water possesses the strongest intermolecular forces (hydrogen bonds). Although hydrogen bonds exist in glycerin and methylated spirits as well, they are a little weaker than in water.

Intermolecular forces in ch3oh include London dispersion forces, dipole dipole attraction, and hydrogen bonding. Methylated spirits, a common industrial solvent, are mostly made of ethyl alcohol. Because methanol denatures ethyl alcohol, commercial supply is exempt from the typical taxes and charges imposed on alcohol. A quantity of methyl alcohol or phenol is added to make it so that drinking it will make you go blind. Alcohols have the hydrogen bonding and van der Waals intermolecular forces of attraction.

15 grams of sodium reacts with a certain amount of chlorine to yield 37 grams of sodium chloride, as shown below.
ale4655 [162]

Answer: 22g of chlorine would be needed to carry out this synthesis reaction

Explanation:

A synthesis reaction is one in which two or more than two elements combine together to forma single product.

Na+Cl\rightarrow NaCl

The atoms present in the reactants are found on the product side. According to the law of conservation of mass, the number of atoms on both sides of the arrow must be same as the total mass must be conserved.

15 grams of sodium reacts with 22 grams of chlorine to yield 37 grams of sodium chloride. Thus 22g of chlorine would be needed to carry out this synthesis reaction.
