What is the mass of 1.45 moles of silver sulfate?
tatuchka [14]

Answer:

449.5 g

Explanation:

Silver sulfate- Ag2SO4

M(Ag)=107 g/mol => M(Ag2)=214 g/mol

M(S)=32 g/mol

M(O)=16 g/mol => M(O4)=64 g/mol

M(Ag2SO4)=310 g/mol

n=1.45 mol

m(Ag2SO4)=M(Ag2SO4)*n=310 g/mol *1.45 mol= 449.5 g

Someone explain it plz
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

1). 1 mole of Carbon burnt in air

C + O2 →CO2

1 mole of carbon produces 1 mole of CO2 which is 44g of CO2

2). 1 mole of carbon is burnt in 16g of dioxygen

32g of O2 = 44g of CO2

1g of O2 = 44/32

CO2 (Dioxygen is limiting reagent)

16g of O2 = 4/32 × 16 = 22g of CO2 in one mole

3) 2 moles of Carbon burnt in 16g of dioxygen

16g of dioxygen is available, and thus it can combine with 0.5 mol of carbon to give 22g of CO2

What is the effect of adding more water to the following equilibrium reaction?
Serhud [2]

Answer:

Option B is correct More hydrogen carbonate is formed

Explanation:

Step 1: Data given

The Principle of Le Chatelier says 'If the concentration of one of the reaction partners changes, the balance will shift to counteract that concentration change.

Step 2: When adding more H2O

For the equation CO2 + H2O --> H2CO3

If the H2O concentration is increased, the system will attempt to undo that change in concentration by shifting the balance to the right, and so the H2CO3 concentration will increase.

Option B is correct More hydrogen carbonate is formed
