All so have to do is make sure to convert the negatives and positives of the second group of values since there is a subtraction symbol that you have to distribute to that section.

This would turn the expression into
3x^5 + 3x^2 - 4x^3 + x - 6 - x^3 - 4x^4 - 2x^2 + 10x

Then combine like terms and line all the values in order from greatest exponent value to least to get
3x^5 - 4x^4 - 5x^3 + x^2 +11x - 6

Hope this helped :)

The first step is to distribute the negative sign to the expression (x3+4x4+2x2-10x) and after distributing the negative sign, the expression will become (-x3-4x4-2x2+10x). Then combine this with the first given expression (3x5+3x2−4x3+x−6) and this will become 3x5+3x2−4x3+x−6-x3-4x4-2x2+10x. then you can simplify it into 3x5-4x4+5x3+x2+11x-6.

If you use a 0.10 level of significance in a two-tail hypothesis test, what is your decision rule for rejecting a null hypothesi
Dovator [93]

Answer:

Our decision rule will be to reject The null hypothesis H0 if the test statistic is less than -1.645, or if it is greater than +1.645.

Step-by-step explanation:

The hypotheses would be;

Null hypothesis;H0: μ = 500

Alternative hypothesis;Ha: μ ≠ 500

Since it's two - tailed at 0.1 level of significance, then each tail will contain 5% or 0.05. From the z-table attached, the corresponding critical value of 0.05 is approximately 1.645 standard deviations from the mean.

Thus, our decision rule will be to reject The null hypothesis H0 if the test statistic is less than -1.645, or if it is greater than +1.645.
