All so have to do is make sure to convert the negatives and positives of the second group of values since there is a subtraction symbol that you have to distribute to that section.

This would turn the expression into
3x^5 + 3x^2 - 4x^3 + x - 6 - x^3 - 4x^4 - 2x^2 + 10x

Then combine like terms and line all the values in order from greatest exponent value to least to get
3x^5 - 4x^4 - 5x^3 + x^2 +11x - 6

Hope this helped :)

The first step is to distribute the negative sign to the expression (x3+4x4+2x2-10x) and after distributing the negative sign, the expression will become (-x3-4x4-2x2+10x). Then combine this with the first given expression (3x5+3x2−4x3+x−6) and this will become 3x5+3x2−4x3+x−6-x3-4x4-2x2+10x. then you can simplify it into <span>3x5-4x4+5x3+x2+11x-6.</span>

What is 3/4(x2+4x+6)=13x-2
maxonik [38]

Answer:

x_1=12.65\\\\x_2=0.685

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{3}{4}(x^2+4x+6)=(13x-2)\\\\Multiply\ both\ sides\ by\ 4.\\\\3(x^2+4x+6)=4(13x-2)\\\\3x^2+12x+18=52x-8\\\\3x^2+12x+18-(52x-8)=0\\\\3x^2+12x-52x+18+8=0\\\\3x^2-40x+26=0

Roots of Polynomial:

Roots\ are\ polynomial\ ax^2+bx+c=0\\\\x=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{(b^2-4ac)}}{2a}

Here\ a=3,\ b-40,\ c=26\\\\x=\frac{-(-40)\pm \sqrt{(-40)^2-4\times 3\times 26}}{2\times 3}\\\\x=\frac{40\pm\sqrt{1288}}{6}\\\\x_1=\frac{40+\sqrt{1288}}{6}\approx 12.65\\\\x_2=\frac{40-\sqrt{1288}}{6}\approx 0.685

Kiran is about to start hiking on a trail that is 1.8 miles long. In his past hikes on the same trail, he had walked at a consta
LenaWriter [7]

Answer:

F(t) = 1.8 - 0.04t

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

Length of trail = 1.8m

Walking speed = 0.04 miles per minute

Distance left, t minutes after one statues walking :

Total distance covered after t minutes = speed * time = 0.04t

Distance left after t minutes :

Initial distance - distance covered

Hence,

F(t) = 1.8 - 0.04t

dem82 [27]

Answer:

The number of sandwiches sold is 73. This is because it is multiplied by the expression for the money received per sandwich.

The cost to make each sandwich is <em>S. </em>This is stated in the first sentence of the problem.

<em />

The profit is 0.2<em>S. </em>This is because they sell each sandwich for an additional 20% of the cost ( S )

<em />

The amount of money the band receives is (<em>S </em>+ 0.2<em>S </em>). This is because it is the price per sandwich.
