I'm assuming you'ret talking about either WWII or WWI, but it's the same concept. They made sure everybody knew about it. Posters were everywhere letting people know about their fellow Americans in the war and to donate lots of money and supplies.

They gave the power to the people because they were fearful that if they had 1 leader(king, queen, or president) then the US would become much like Britain in which they had just broken free of. Hope this helps

Well i can say that this is a question that no one will ever have the answer to, well an exact one that is, and if there was an exact answer to this question im sure that you would have answered it yourself but, this is what started the civil war such as the new rules of slavery, north wanted to abolish it while the south wanted to keep slaves around. that is probably the biggest reason why the civil war began<span />
