Why does Mark Antony first recall Caesar’s military background and then show the Roman crowd Caesar’s body?
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

The reason why Mark Antony first recalls the military background of Caesar before proceeding to show the Roman crowd Caesar’s body is because he wants to manipulate the members of the Roman army, who are in the crowd, by recalling Caesar's military success and thereafter, provoke their emotions by showing them Caesar's stabbed body.

Olenka [21]
The major breakthrough in the study of dreams came in 1953 when researchers Eugene Aserinsky and Nathaniel Kleitman studied and discovered what happens when a person falls asleep. They found  that the body enters into a psycho-physiological state in intervals of 90 minute cycles during sleep. This physiological state consists of heightened brain activity, Rapid Eye Movement (REM), increased breathing, a temporary paralysis of  the body and genital engorgement. Through experiments, they confirmed that these physiological observations were the result of the person being  in the dream state.

One of your friends at work eats one of your cookies and says it would be great if you could bring more of these cookies to the
Lilit [14]

Answer:

The best answer to the question: This is an example of a ____ structure, would be: single-alternative selection structure.

Explanation:

This has to do with computer programming and how computers are able to "decide" what action to take, or how to proceed, when a person uses them in making decisions and choices. In the single-alternative, a programmer structures an "if" statement to allow the computer to make a decision that will lead to a single answer if a condition pre-programmed into it is met. In this case, in particular, you have received a request from a friend from work to bake and bring more cookies to the staff meeting on Monday. By using the "if" statement, you have become "programmed" on Sunday to bake the cookies and have them ready for Monday. Essentially, the request from your friend programs you to bake the cookies on Sunday and have them ready for Monday.
