3 2/5 there was that much board left

Answer:

3 2/5

I converted these into decimals, because I find it easier ^.^

We have an 8 feet board, and we twice remove 2 1/3 from that number.

8 - 2 1/3 = 5.7

5.7 - 2 1/3 = 3.4 or 3 2/5

~Hope this helps~

Which list is in order from least to greatest? A) 9.4 * 10^-8, 9.25 * 10^-6, 2.5 * 10^3, 7* 10^3 B) 2.5 *10^3, 7 * 10^3, 9.25 *
vladimir1956 [14]

ANSWER

A) 9.4 * 10^-8, 9.25 * 10^-6, 2.5 * 10^3, 7* 10^3

EXPLANATION

The numbers are given in standard form.

The first criteria we will use to order them is the exponents.

The bigger the exponents the bigger the number.

The second criteria is that, if the exponents of any two numbers are the same, then we use the numbers multiplying the powers of 10 to order.

9.4 * 10^{-8} \: < \: 9.25 * 10^{-6} \: < \: 2.5 * 10^3 \: < \: 7* 10^3

The correct choice is A.

Whoever has the best answer gets the brainliest answer!:)
Korvikt [17]
Since the length is 10 in. You must multiply it by \frac{1}{5} and then multiply by \frac{1}{2}. The reason for this is because if you divide ten by 5 it will be 2, then if you divide 2 by 2 it will be 1.

Which graph represents an odd function?<br><br>Answer by using: A, B, C, or D for each graph.
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer: The correct option is C.

Explanation:

A function is called an odd function if,

f(-x)=-f(x)

It means if the points are in the form of (x,y) then (-x,-y) is also in the graph.

Reason for correct option:

In option C, a point  (1,2),

It means,

f(1)=2

And we have another point (-1,-2).

f(-1)=-f(1)=-2

The other points are (2,3),(-2,-3),(3,-1),(-3,1),(4,0),(-4,0). Therefore the function is an odd function.

Reason for incorrect option:

In option A, a point is (1,3), therefore the value of function at x = -1 should be -3.

But the value of function is 1 at x=-1, therefore it is not an odd function.

In option B, a point is  (1,0), therefore the value of function at x = -1 should be 0.

But the value of function is -3 at x=-1, therefore it is not an odd function.

In option D, a point is (1,-1), therefore the value of function at x = -1 should be 1.

But the value of function is -1 at x=-1, therefore it is not an odd function.
