Answer:

He wants to talk about how our diet affects our lives and the lives of others.

Explanation:

Mark Bittman in his Ted Talk wants to convey a message about our eating habits. According to him we eat in excess, in a wrong and selfish way. He says that in addition to eating more than we should, we eat the wrong things that don't do us any good.

He also says that this irresponsible consumption affects our health in many ways, and not only that, it also affects the lives of people who have nothing to eat.

NikAS [45]

Answer:

You must buy at least 3 shirts

Explanation:

1.799 * 2 = 20% of 17.99

20% of 17.99 is 3.598 or 3.60

17.99 - 3.60 = price of shirt with 20% discount

Recombinant DNA technology was very important because it.
Simora [160]

Answer:

Gave scientists a tool used for genetic engineering

Explanation:

Recombinant DNA technology usually used in genetic engineering. Genetic engineering is the branch of biology in which all genetical things are studied. By using genetic engineering, it is possible to create new animals, to remove unwanted nature from any organism, improve any character in any species, etc.

Recombinant DNA technology helps to combine two genes from two different species. By doing this, it is possible to remove any weak character from any species such as a species of rice that is susceptible to Rice hispa; another species of rice has that gene that is resistant to Rice hispa. Now, by using Recombinant DNA technology, it possible to take the resistant gene and insert it to that species, which is susceptible to Rice hispa. It will improve that susceptible variety.
