Value of painting: $75, $88.50, $104.43

A) $1,915.42
B) $2,044.19
C) $2,103.73

Answer:

The answer is E

Step-by-step explanation:

We first are going to look at our first term on the table(the number that comes up first) which is $75.

Then we have to find the common factor. So, you divide the second number by the first number( 88.50 divided by 75 which gets us 1.18).

Now, since we found the first term and the common factor, we are going to have to find the exponent for our f(x) equation.

We know that she bought the painting in 2009! Now the problem is asking how much the painting will cost in 2030. So, you will subtract 2030-2009 which gets you 21! So 21 is your exponent!

Equation:    F(x)= 75(1.18) ^21

The answer that you get is: $2424.28

Show that the two triangles given beside are similar and calculate the lengths of sides PQ and PR.

Answer:

  • ΔABC ~ ΔPQR
  • PQ = 8
  • PR = 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Angles A and P are marked congruent; angles B and Q are marked congruent, so the triangles are similar by the AA similarity postulate. The similarity statement can be written ...

  ΔABC ~ ΔPQR by AA similarity

__

The ratio of sides of PQR to ABC is the ratio QR/BC = 12/6 = 2. That is, each side in the larger triangle is 2 times the length of the corresponding smaller side.

  PQ = 2·AB = 2·4 = 8

  PR = 2·AC = 2·7 = 14

The side lengths of interest are ...

  PQ = 8, PR = 14

find the perimeter of an isosceles triangle with side lengths of 5+x, 5+x, and xy. Write in simplest form.
Zinaida [17]

Answer: perimeter = 10+2x+xy

To get the perimeter, you add up all the outer sides

side1+side2+side3 = (5+x)+(5+x)+(xy) = 10+2x+xy

The like terms 5 and 5 add to 10. The other pair of like terms x and x add to 2x. There isn't anything to pair with xy, so we leave it as is.

What is 1/4 plus 1/3, will give brainliest and thank you and rate and give 15 points plz help
Slav-nsk [51]
First, you have to convert 1/4 and 1/3 to have the same denominator.

So, 1/4 x 3 = 3/12. 1/3 x 4 = 4/12.

Now, you can add 3/12 + 4/12 = 7/12.
