Which is the graph of the linear inequality y < 3x + 1? On a coordinate plane, a solid straight line has a positive slope and

goes through (negative 1, negative 2) and (0, 1). Everything to the left of the line is shaded. On a coordinate plane, a solid straight line has a positive slope and goes through (negative 1, negative 2) and (0, 1). Everything to the right of the line is shaded. For this case we have the following inequality: y < 3x + 1 < br/ >

What we must do is to evaluate a point of the Cartesian plane and verify if it is in the shaded region.

The shaded region represents the solution of the system of equations.

For the point (0, 0) we have:

0 < 3(0) + 1 < br / >

0 < 0 + 1 < br / >

0 < 1 < br / >

Therefore, the point (0, 0) is in the shaded region because it satisfies the inequality.

Then, the points that are on the line, are not part of the solution because the sign is of less strict.

Hope I helped ~~Laurel

1. One week Carlos bought 3 bags of Tabitha Tidbits and 4 bags of Figaro Flakes for $43.00. The next week he bought 3 bags of Ta
d1i1m1o1n [39]
Tabitha Tidbits costs $7 per bag, and Figaro Flakes is $5.50 per bag.
You need to set up a system of equations. Use "x" for Tabitha Tidbits and "y" for Figaro Flakes, and let the total cost of each trip equal c. Using the equation ax+by=c, substitute the cost of each trip in for c, and the number of bags for each food for a and b respectively. The two equations will be:
3x+4y=43
3x+6y=54
Isolate x in the first equation and you will get:
x=(43-4y)/3
Substitute the above equation for x into the other equation:
3*((43-4y)/3)+6y=54
Isolate y in this equation, and you will get 11/2, which is 5.5
So the cost of one bag of Figaro Flakes is $5.50
Now substitute this into the equation where you isolated x:
(43-4(5.5))/3
You will get x=7, so a bag of Tabitha Tidbits is $7

Consider the following function :y=1/(x+5)+2 How does the graph of this function compare with the graph of the parent function,
Paraphin [41]
With respect to the parent function,
  y = 1/(x+5) +2
is translated 5 units left and 2 units up.

In (triangle symbol)ABC, (angle symbol)C is a right angle. Find the remaining sides and angles. Round your answers to the neares
irinina [24]
Use the Pythagorean Theorem.

a² + b² = c²

3² + b² = 19²

9 + b² = 361

b² = 352

b = 4√11

Now, solve for the remaining angles by using the trigonometric ratios:

Sine = opposite/hypotenuse

sin(A)= 3/19

sininverse(3/19) = 9.1 = angle A

180-9.1-90 = 80.9 = angle B
