He would have played 36 matches and gotten a grand total of 254 shots. If he was average then he would’ve gotten 255 shots in 36 games.

2 * 77 = 254

3 * 85 = 255

So you find the difference in how many shots he takes per 18 holes vs how many shots it takes the average person. It takes him 8 less (85-77). now find the approximate number of rounds it would take landon to get to 100 shots difference 13x8=104. So it looks like it will be 13 rounds, lets check. 77x13=1001 and 85x13=1105. There is 104 difference in between. So you answer will be 13 full rounds or 12 rounds and one half round. It seems you are looking for a specific answer so your answer is 13

Think About the Process A jar contains only pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. There are 17 pennies, 12 dimes, and 26 qua
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

Number of coins that are not nickels = 55 coins

66 = 55 + n

number of nickels in the jar = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Pennies = 17

Dimes = 12

Quarters = 26

Nickels = n

Total coins = 66

How many of the coins are not nickels?

= Pennies + Dimes + Quarters

= 17 + 12 + 26

= 55 coins

Number of coins that are not nickels = 55 coins

what equation could you use to find n?

Total coins = Pennies + Dimes + Quarters + nickels

66 = 17 + 12 + 26 + n

66 = 55 + n

n = 66 - 55

n = 11

number of nickels in the jar = 11

2x^3-3x^2-11x+6 divide by x-3
Alexxx [7]

Answer: 2x^2+3x-2

Step-by-step explanation:

You can do long division, which is very very hard to show with typing on a keyboard. You essentially want to divide the leading coefficient for each term. Ill try my best to explain it.

Do \frac{2x^3}{x}=2x^2. Write 2x^2 down. Now multiply (x - 3) by it. Then subtract it from the trinomial.

2x^2*(x-3)=2x^3 -6x^2\\(2x^3 -3x^2-11x+6)-(2x^3-6x^2) = 3x^2-11x+6

Now do \frac{3x^2}{x} =3x. Write that down next to your 2x^2. Multiply 3x by (x - 3) to get:

3x(x-3)=3x^2-9x\\(3x^2-11x+6)-(3x^2-9x)=-2x+6

Your final step is to do \frac{-2x}{x} =-2. Write this -2 next to your other two parts

Multiply -2 by (x - 3) to get:

-2(x-3)=-2x+6\\(-2x+6)-(-2x+6)=0

Our remainder is 0 so that means (x - 3) goes into that trinomial exactly:

2x^2+3x-2 times
