To find probability of Madison picking two orange marbles in a row we will find the probability of picking the firs orange marble and then the second marble  the product of both will give the probability of Madison picking two orange marbles in a row.

Sum of marbles =5+4=9.

Number of orange marbles = 4.

Probability of picking orange marbles = \frac{4}{9}.

Number of orange marbles left =3.

Total number of marbles = 8.

Probability of picking second orange marbles=\frac{3}{8.}

Probability of  Madison picking two orange marbles in a row=\frac{4}{9}x\frac{3}{8}=\frac{12}{72}=\frac{1}{6}.

Option D is the right answer.

So, number of brand is 4
