Answer:

You use a coin flips to represent sex combination that may occur In families because the outcome of the offspring is always uncertain.

The two different genes of the parents are passed by which is stronger, like a coin , the side that carries the most gravity( or is strongest) lays face down.

Therfore, the decendents of two species is overided by one. Yet the child's genes are 50\50 and carry half of both parents, but the strongest are actually shown.

This is the chemical formula for acetone: CH32CO. Calculate the mass percent of carbon in acetone.
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

62.07 %

Explanation:

Chemical Formula = (CH3)2CO = C3H6O

Mass of C = 12 g/mol

Mass of H = 1 g/mol

Mass of O = 12 g/mol

Mass of C3H6O = 3(12) + 6(1) + 16 = 58 g/mol

Total mass of C in Acetone = 12 * 3 = 36 g

Mass Percent of C = Total mass of C / Mass of Acetone * 100

Mass percent = 36 / 58 * 100

Mass percent = 62.07 %

What is the mass of NaCl required to make 140 grams of a 12% solution of NaCl in water?
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

C. 17 grams.

Explanation:

∵ mass % = [mass of solute/mass of solution] x 100.

mass of solute (NaCl) = ??? g & mass of solution = 140.0 g.

∴ mass of NaCl = (mass %)(mass of solution)/100 = (12.0)(140.0)/100 = 16.80 g ≅ 17.0 g.

Water is made of polar molecules, and oil is made of nonpolar molecules. Based on your observations, which molecules attract eac
victus00 [196]

Based on observation of polar and non-polar molecules, polar molecules would attract each other more strongly.

What are polar and non-polar molecules?

Polar molecules are those molecules that can ionize or dissociate into their respective positive and negative ions when in an aqueous solution.

Nonpolar molecules, on the other hand, are not ionic i.e. not dissociating into ions when dissolved in water.

Polar molecules like water (H2O) contains an uneven distribution of cations (+) and anions (-), hence, would be more attracted to one another than nonpolar molecules that have an even distribution of ions.
