What is the slope of the line that passes through (-3,-7) and (1,9)

Mathematics

To find slope, use the formula:

(y2-y1)/x2-x1)

So here is what it will look like:

(9--7)/(1--3)

Since you are subtracting a negative, then it turns unto a positive so you are adding the numbers together.

(9+7)/1+3)

16/4

4

The slope of the line is 4/1 or 4. Which means that you will go up or "rise" 4 and go to the left or "run" 1.

Hope this helps!

In the triangle shown above m∠B = 114°, m∠C = 22°, and b = 12 in. What is the approximate length of side a? A. 15.78 in B. 9.12
Elena L [17]

The approximate length of side a is 9.12 in. The correct option is B. 9.12 in

Law of Sines

From the question, we are to determine the approximate length of side a

From the given information, we have that

m∠B = 114°, m∠C = 22°

Thus,

m∠A = 180° - (114° + 22°)

m∠A = 180° - 136°

m∠A = 44°

Now,

From the law of sines, we have that

a/sinA = b/sinB

Then,

a/sin44° = 12/sin114°

a = (12 ×sin44°)/sin114°

a = 9.12 in

Hence, the approximate length of side a is 9.12 in. The correct option is B. 9.12 in

Easy one - giving brainly - show work.
you can do any of the 3, i don't mind.
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

A

Total before tax: $118

Total after tax: $102.66

Step-by-step explanation:

For A, we add the cost of the shirt and jeans to get the total before tax.

$39.20 + $79.80 = $118.00

For the total, after 13% we see how much 1% is.

1% of $118 is $1.18

$1.18 * 13 = $15.34.

$118 - $15.34 = $102.66

Hope this helped! Have a nice day :)
