Answer: 50w+150>650

w>10

Step-by-step explanation: Subtract 150 on both sides, leaving 50w>500. Divide both sides by 50 to get w>10

Simplify the trigonometric expression sin(4x) +2 sin(2x) using Double-Angle<br> Identities.
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:

8sin(x)cos³(x)

Step-by-step explanation:

sin(4x) +2 sin(2x)  = 2sin(2x)*cos(2x) + 2sin(2x) = 2sin(2x)(cos2x + 1)=

= 2sin(2x)(cos²x - sin²x + cos²x + sin²x)=²2sin(2x)*(2cos²x)=

= 4*2sin(x)*cos(x)*cos²(x)= 8sin(x)cos³(x)

Please help!!!
trasher [3.6K]

When an answer to a question uses the greater than symbol, that means any number above the number used is a possible answer to the equation. However, when it's just a simple "x = 2", then 2 is the only possible answer to that equation. Think about it as if it were on a graph. In the attached file I have a graph that is displaying the equation "x > 4". The entire shaded area to the right of 4 could be a possible answer.

Hope this helps.

How do you do this problem? I need to know how you found the answer.
Alexxandr [17]

to get the equation of a line, we simply need two points, say for the Red one ... notice in the graph the lines passes through (0,2) and (-1,6), so let's use those

\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{0}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{2})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{-1}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{6}) \\\\\\ slope = m\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{6-2}{-1-0}\implies \cfrac{4}{-1}\implies -4 \\\\\\ \begin{array}{|c|ll} \cline{1-1} \textit{point-slope form}\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}\implies y-2=-4(x-0) \\\\\\ y-2=-4x\implies \blacktriangleright y=-4x+2 \blacktriangleleft

now, for the Blue one, say let's use hmmm it passes through (0,2) and (1.6)

\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{0}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{2})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{1}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{6}) \\\\\\ slope = m\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{6-2}{1-0}\implies \cfrac{4}{1}\implies 4 \\\\\\ \begin{array}{|c|ll} \cline{1-1} \textit{point-slope form}\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}\implies y-2=4(x-0) \\\\\\ y-2=4x\implies \blacktriangleright y=4x+2 \blacktriangleleft

Which of the following shows the correct evaluation for the exponential expression 6 over 7 to the power of 2?
yaroslaw [1]
For this case we have the following expression:
6 over 7 to the power of 2
 (6/7) ^ 2
By power properties we can rewrite the expression as:
 (6/7) * (6/7)
 Calculating we have:
 (6/7) * (6/7) = 36/49
 Answer:

6 over 7 times 6 over 7 equals 36 over 49
