Paleontology in the real world isn't as careless and usually in movies they mis-label things. Paleontology isn't as simple as it seems and in many movies they portray little effort or processing and handling of the fossils. It requires much attention and you have to take care of the bones. Jurassic Park is a great example of fake paleontology and comparing it to real paleontology can surprise you.

Sickle cell anemia is a genetic condition that distorts the shape of the hemoglobin. This reduces the capacity of the red blood cells to carry oxygen. Another effect is that the distorted red blood cells come together forming a heavy and compact collection of cells that can block the flow of blood. The sedimentation rate is increased by sickle cell anemia.

Euglenas are unicellular organisms belonging to the kingdom Protista, when kept in the dark for too long Euglenoids begin to lose their chlorophyll. As it loses its chlorophyll it becomes unable to produce its own food and starts consuming bacterias within its habitat.

The loss of chlorophyll in Euglenids can be regained after it is been exposed to sunlight and allowed  to grow exponentially for several weeks.
