-0.13333333333 rounded to the nearest hundredth is -0.13

A hundreth is 2 places behind the decimal. And rounding means to just say whatever number is the closest. In this case, 3 is closer to 0 than it is to 10, so you just keep it the same and remove everything farther back than 2 places.

Hope this helps :)

the cost of fencing a rectangular field at rupees 30 per metre is rupees 2400 if the length of the its field is 24m than its bre
prohojiy [21]

Answer:

breadth = 8, length = 32

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = 2 x (length x breadth)

                = 2 x ((24 + b) + b))

                = 2 x (24 + 2b)

                = 48 + 4 b

48 + 4b meters costs rupees 2400

each meter costs rupees 30

so,

30 x (48 + 4b) = 2400

1440 + 120b    = 2400

           120b    = 960

                 b    = 8

the breadth is 8m, the length is 8 + 24 = 32m

The surface area of a pyramid is 327 square meters. what is the surface area of a similar pyramid that is smaller by a scale fac
N76 [4]

Answer:

\boxed{\text{144.33 m}^{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

The scale factor (C) is the ratio of corresponding parts of the two pyramids.

The ratio of the areas is the square of the scale factor.

\dfrac{A_{1}}{ A_{2}} = C^{2}\\\\\dfrac{\text{327 m}^{2}}{A_{2}} = \left (\dfrac{1}{\frac{2}{3}}\right)^{2}\\\\ \dfrac{\text{327 m}^{2}}{A_{2}}= \dfrac{9}{4}\\\\\text{1308 m}^{2}= 9A_{2}\\\\A_{2} = \text{145.33 m}^{2}\\\text{The surface area of the smaller pyramid is \boxed{\text{145.33 m}^{2}}}

Allushta [10]
I think that the 4 sisters get 3 pieces each of the muffins because if you cut it in four pieces it gives one piece to each one of the four sisters and you keep doing it with the other two left muffins.

HELP PLEASE
mel-nik [20]

Answer:

4 weekdays and 2 weekends.

Step-by-step explanation:

6 days.

x = weekdays

y = weekends

7x = amount with weekdays

12y = amount with weekends

7x + 12y = 52, total

x + y = 6, amount of days

solve double variable equation

x = 6 - y, plug in to 1st equation

7(6 - y) + 12y = 52

42 - 7y + 12y = 52

5y = 10

y = 2 weekends

2 + x = 6

x = 4 weekdays
