What feature of dna replication makes it semi-conservative
OLEGan [10]
DNA is semiconservative because during replication, it separates into two strands. It then recreates the opposite strand on each of the original strands to form two new identical strands of DNA. It's not conservative because it does not recreate a whole new strand off of one whole original strand.

As guard cells become turgid, the stomata fully __________ and gases and water vapor are ___________ to pass through it.
Elis [28]
As guard cells become turgid, the stomata fully open and gases and water vapor are allowed to pass through it. When the plant is full of water, the guard cells fill up to become plump and turgid, making the stomata open so gases can be exchanged for photosynthesis. When the plant  is short of water the guard cells lose water and become flaccid, making the stomata close, this helps stop too much water vapor escaping.
