The main reason Harrison Bergeron is considered a threat in the eponymously titled short story is that he is able to rip off of his handicaps and make himself the self-proclaimed "Emperor," thereby removing control of the authoritarian regime that needs all of its citizens to weaken themselves and obey government  commands.

Who is Eumaeus talking about in the following quote from Book XVII of The Odyssey?:
stira [4]

The Odyssey is a Greek epic poem formed by 24 parts attributed to Homer, it is considered to be the sequel of the Iliad. It is supposed to have been written in VIII B.C

It narrates the return of the Greek hero Odyssey or Ulises in Roman culture, to his home from the Trojan Wars. The story tells the adventures of Odyssey spending ten years on the war plus ten more years in his return home, at the Ithaca Island. His son Telemachus and his wife Penelope have to withstand a group of men trying to marry Penelope but at the same time consuming the house’s riches. Odyssey finally gets back at his home disguised as an old man so nobody would be suspicious of him and would try to stop him. He kills all the men trying to marry his rightful wife. The best weapon that Odyssey has is his intelligence, courage and the help of the Goddess Athene.

Argus was the hound of noble Odysseus, in this section Eumaus is talking to Odysseus when he is disguised as an old man to face the "suitors" in his own home, Eumaeus does not know that he is telling the story of Argus to its own owner.

So, to give a final and concrete answer to this question, Eumaeus is talking about:

Odyssey, who is disguised as an old man.

How does the author skillfully connect the various points to build his claim for creating a monument for Colonel Young?
Elodia [21]

Hello. You did not present the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.

It is only possible to answer this question if a reading of the text is made. However, we can consider that it is only possible that an author is able to connect the various points of a claim, through the use of a correct and efficient text structure. This is because it is the text structure, which manages to connect the dots in a text.

This structure can be chronological (when connecting the dots through a timeline), sequential (when presenting a sequence of things or events), problem and solution (when presenting how problems were solved), cause and effect (when presenting the cause of some events), comparison and contrast (when it shows the similarities and differences between two elements).

Therefore, to answer this question, you must read the text and identify the type of textual structure that the author uses when submitting a claim to create a monument to Colonel Young.
