Answer:

It's easy.

Step-by-step explanation:

The square root of something is just the reverse of some squared.

For example, if you do 3 to the power of 2 (3^2) you get 9. now if you reverse that you would do square root. \sqrt{9} would be 3. Think of it like multiplication and division. If you do 10*5 you get 50. All you have to do is reverse it after that 50/5 = 10. See.

The only difference it square(2) root and squared(2) are only with the number 2. Meaning you can't do 3 to the power of 3 (3^3) and expect to square root it to get the reverse. For example, 3 to the power of 3 (3^3) is 27. But the square root of 27 is NOT 3, it is 5.2

You get it?

Identify a pattern in the given list of numbers. Then use this pattern to find the next number. 17,7,-3,-13,-23
notka56 [123]

Answer:

-33

Step-by-step explanation:

The sequence is descending so the nth term would be -10n and the 0 term would be 27 so the nth term for the sequence would be -10n +27.

The question asks you to find the 6th term so (-10 x 6) + 27 = -60 + 27 = -33

Anestetic [448]
6/26

You’re trying to reach a whole by having the fraction 26/26
You can add 12/26 + 8/26 = 20/26
Then take 26/26 - 20/26 = 6/26

In which step did Viet make an error? 2 ( x − 3 ) 2 + 4 = 102 2 ( x − 3 ) 2 = 106 Step 1 ( x − 3 ) 2 = 53 Step 2 x − 3 = ± 53 St
vitfil [10]

Answer:

Step 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Step 1: 2(x - 3)^2 + 4 = 102

Step 2: 2(x - 3)^2 = 106

Step 3: x - 3 = \±\sqrt{53

Step 4: x = \±\sqrt{53} + 3

Required

Where did Viet made an error?

The step 1 indicates the original question.

2(x - 3)^2 + 4 = 102

To get to step 2, we have to subtract 4 from both sides of the equation.

2(x - 3)^2 + 4 -4= 102 - 4

2(x - 3)^2 = 98

However, the above expression is different from Viet's evaluation.

Hence, we can conclude that Viet made an error in step 2
