Belmont Report is an established standard or guideline that was fully prepared by the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research in 1978.
The purpose of the report is to serve as credible principles and guidelines for research studies pertaining to human subjects or patients.
The report established three ethical principles which are:
