Yes.

−<span>3<span>(<span>x−<span>2y</span></span>) = </span></span><span>(<span>−3</span>)</span><span>(<span>x+<span>−<span>2y</span></span></span><span>)
</span></span>
And then...

(−3)(x+−2y) = <span><span>(<span>−3</span>)</span><span>(x)</span></span>+<span><span>(<span>−3</span>)</span><span>(<span>−<span>2y</span></span><span>)
</span></span></span>
which equates to <span>−<span>3x</span></span>+<span>6<span>y

The answer of which you're looking for is </span></span><span>−<span>3x</span></span>+<span>6<span>y.</span></span>

Answer:

40 cm² = <em>B</em>

178,127514 ≈ LA

218,127514 ≈ <em>SA</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

First and foremost, since we were not given a height, to find the height, take one-third of the <em>area </em><em>base</em><em> </em>[<em>area base</em> in this case is <em>ws</em><em>,</em><em> </em>since it is a rectangular base]:\frac{1}{3}(40) = 13 \frac{1}{3}

This is your <em>height</em><em>.</em>

Now, to find the lateral area, we use this formula:

l \sqrt{(\frac{w}{2})^{2} + {h}^{2}} + w \sqrt{( \frac{l}{2})^{2} + {h}^{2}} = L. A.

Plugging these numbers into this formula will give you an approximate value of 178,127514.

Then you add the lateral area to the base area to get your surface area:

40 + 178,127514 = 218,127514

I am joyous to assist you anytime.

Charlie runs at a speed of 3 yards per second . About how many miles per hour does Charlie run?
MrMuchimi
Ok so this can get tricky, it is basically just asking for you to perform many unit conversions. I'll try to simplify it for you here while still maintaining the explanation. If you have any questions about this process feel free to message me.

3 yards = ____ miles (conversion factor is 1760 because there are 1760 yards in a mile)

3/1760 = 0.017 miles,

Now we just need to convert seconds to hours.

1 second is how many mins, then how many mins in an hour?

360 seconds in an hour.

Ok now we just need to combine these two pieces of info,
0.017/360 = 4.72222 miles per hour. Thus 4.72 is the answer.
