I believe that the youth movement originated with the baby boomers, the huge generation born after the world war II. By 1970, 58.2 % of the population in America was under the age of 35 years. The economic boom of the 1950s meant more families could afford to send their children to College. College life gave the young people a sense of freedom and independence. It was on college campuses across the nation that youth protest movements began and reached their peak.
One evolutionary explanation for why lizards living in the same part of the habitat would have similar characteristics is adaptation. It is a function or structure that is very common in lizards and other animals. If the lizards are leaving in a same part of habitat they will have the same characteristics which they will adapt coming from the same habitat.
Probability and curiosity is what is comes down to. When a hypothesis is shared, you figure out how your hypothesis is correct, on the other hand, you choose the best suited hypothesis that is more probable of what can happen
