How many and what type of solution(s) does the equation have?
zzz [600]

Answer:

2 irrational solutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

6p^2 = 8p + 3

0 = -6p^2 + 8p + 3

The roots are:

p = (2/3) - (8.5)^(1/2)/3, and

p = (2/3) + (8.5)^(1/2)/3

These are irrational numbers.

There are 2 irrational solutions.

PLEASE HELP
babunello [35]

The selected statistical questions are as follows:

A what is the typical amount of rainfall for the month of June in the Galapagos islands

D how many songs does the class usually listen to each day

G how long does it typically take for 2nd graders to walk a lap around the track

Statistical questions are known by these two main characteristics:

 • they are answered by the collection of data
 • there is always variability in the data collected

This means that the data vary. They are not the same data. For example, "How old is Monday?" is not a statistical question because it has one answer.

Thus, statistical questions are not answered by a single number or answer, especially when the correct answer is just one.

What is the median of the data?
UNO [17]
You need to order the data, so
11, 12, 13, 14, 14, 15, 17, 17, 18, 18, 18, 20
Then find the middle of the data. Because there are 12 data points, the median will lie between the two 6th placed numbers
The two numbers are 15 and 17, so work out the mean of them. (15+17)/2 = 16
So the answer is B. 16
