How to find coordinates of a point using ratio
Marat540 [252]

m1=3, m2= 1

point A= (-5,4)

point B=(7,-2)

x=m1x2+m2x1/ m1+m2 , y=m1y2+m2y1 / m1+m2

x= 3×7 +1×-5/3+1 , y= 3×-2+1×4 / 3+1

x= 21-5/4, y= -6+4/4

x= 16/4, y= -2/4

x= 4, y= 0.5

What is 3x/2+7=13 i don't know how to salve this problun
Julli [10]

your answer is 39.

First you would add 7 and 2 to get 9. From there you would get the equation 3x/9=13.

Then you would multiple by the reciprocal, or 9/1 to cancel out 3x/9.

Then u multiply 9×13 because what u do to one side you have to do to the other.

Your equation should now say 3x=117.

Finally divide by 3 to solve for x.

X=39.

A parallelogram has a perimeter of 50.12 inches. The two longer sides of the parallelogram are each 16.14 inches. Write an equat
icang [17]

Answer:

The equation to find the length of each of the shorter sides of the parallelogram is 2x + 32.28 = 50.12 and the value of x is 8.92 inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's review the information provided to us to answer the question correctly:

Perimeter of the parallelogram = 50.12 inches

Length of the longer sides = 16.14 inches

Length of the shorter sides = x

2. Write an equation to find the length x of each of the shorter sides.

Perimeter of the parallelogram = 2 * Length of the longer sides + 2 * Length of the shorter sides

50.12 = 2 * 16.14 + 2 *x

2x + 32.28 = 50.12

2x = 50.12 - 32.28

2x = 17.84

x = 17.84/2

x = 8.92

The equation to find the length of each of the shorter sides of the parallelogram is 2x + 32.28 = 50.12 and the value of x is 8.92 inches.
