Solution :

a). Current Ratio :

$\text{current ratio} = \frac{\text{current asset}}{\text{current liability}}$

2017 current ration = $\frac{101450}{120250}$

                               = 0.8436

2018 current ration = $\frac{101850}{111000}$

                               = 0.9175

b). Quick ratio :

$\text{quick ratio} = \frac{\text{current asset - inventory}}{\text{current liability}}$

2017 quick ration = $\frac{101450 - 63200}{120250}$

                               = 0.3180

2018 quick ration = $\frac{101850-63100}{111000}$

                               = 0.3490

c). Cash ratio :

$\text{cash ratio} = \frac{\text{cash}}{\text{current liability}}$

2017 cash ration = $\frac{10450}{120250}$

                               = 0.0869

2018 cash ration = $\frac{10000}{111000}$

                               = 0.0900

d). NWC to the total assets ratio :

$\text{NWC to total assets ratio } = \frac{\text{current assets - current liabilities}}{\text{total assets}}$

2017 NWC to total assets ratio = $\frac{101450-120250}{419450}$

                                                  = -0.0448

2018 NWC to total assets ratio = $\frac{101850-111000}{445850}$

                                                  = -0.0205

e). Debt equity ratio :

$\text{debt equity ratio} = \frac{\text{total debt }}{\text{total equity}}$

2017 debt equity ratio = $\frac{64900+101450}{234300}$

                                     = 0.7099

2018 debt equity ratio = $\frac{62700+101850}{272150}$

                                    = 0.6046

$\text{equity multiplier} = \frac{\text{total assets }}{\text{stock holder's equity}}$

2017 equity multiplier = $\frac{419450}{234300}$

                                    = 1.7902

2018 equity multiplier = $\frac{445850}{272150}$

                                    = 1.6382

f). Total debt ration :

 $\text{total debt ratio} = \frac{\text{total debt }}{\text{total assets}}$

2017 total debt ratio = $\frac{64900+101450}{419450}$

                                = 0.3965

2018 total debt ratio = $\frac{62700+101850}{445850}$

                                 = 0.3690

Long term debt ratio :

$\text{long term debt ratio} = \frac{\text{long term debt }}{\text{total assets}}$

2017 long term debt ratio = $\frac{64900}{419450}$

                                          = 0.1547

2018 long term debt ratio = $\frac{62700}{445850}$

                                           = 0.1406

You Save Bank has a unique account. If you deposit $7,250 today, the bank will pay you an annual interest rate of 4 percent for
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

$15960.94 is the amount I will have in my account after 17 years.

Explanation:

Firstly we are given the present value of the investment that we will be saving so it will be $7250. we are further given that this investment will be saved during a period of 17 years at different rates through the 17 years so we are looking for the future value after 17 years therefore we will use the future value investment formula as just only one amount is invested.

The future value formula = Fv = Pv(1+i)^n

where Fv is the future value of the investment after 17 years,

Pv is the invested amount initially $7250

i is the interest rate which here it is 4% for the first 5 years, then 4.6%  after for 4 years, thereafter 5.3% for the remaining 8 years so we will.

n is the number of years of the investment as per their given interest rates, substitute these values to the above mentioned formula:

Fv= $7250((1+4%)^5) ((1+4.6%)^4)( (1+5.3%)^8) then compute on a calculator

Fv = $15960.938 then we round off to two decimal places

Fv = $15960.94 which will be the amount that will be saved after 17 years .

sergij07 [2.7K]

The answer is this: employees would feel that their opinions matter if open communication is established between the manager and the employee by removing barriers to communication.

An example to this would be having brainstorming meetings where employees are free to give their ideas. Another option would be by eliminating the need to call the manager using suffixes such as Mr. or Dr.

Answer:

Yes its true that both companies are strategic allies.

Explanation:

In strategic alliance, two companies work together to achieve their combined objectives. For example if we talk about Sony Ericson K510i cellphone, it was one of best selling cell phones at its time because two companies Sony and Ericson worked together to increase their sales and earn profit. One of these had display and camera capabilities and the other had cellphone designs, etc. These were the things that made the product differentiated from the rest of the cellphones and we see that both companies earned a lot from it.
