Answer:

He gets stuck in the 1985 version on Mario and Luigi, and his brother has to play the game to get him free again. I did 4 paragraphs.

Explanation:

I remember the summer of 2018 it was horrible, but delightful at the same time. Something happen to me, Jacob Michaels, nothing ever happens to me. Me older brother Jack and I went to the abandoned arcade. I was scared because I knew Jack would leave me if he got scared. He always leaves me. Jack said, "Come on you chicken." I replied rudely, "It's not being a chicken when your brain knows you're in danger." "Whatever", Jack said.

Once we entered it wasn't as creepy, but I was sure the games didn't work they were like 30 years old. Suddenly I heard "It's Mario". Jack said "Look." I turned around cautiously. "We should leave now!", I said. "Chicken" Jack said. "I'm no chicken." I ran to the game and pushed play. Suddenly I saw nothing but pixels and a giant Jack. "Jacob, Jacob, can you hear me??!!!" "Yes I can!! Get me out of here!!" I was still as a marble statue. "Jack I can't move try moving the controls." Out of nowhere I was jumping and running.

I thought to myself this is just like that movie Jumanji. "Jack we have to finish the game!" I said, "We have to rescue Princess Peach." Jack said, "I'll try my best." I felt I was there for days, weeks, no months! I regenerated 60 times I would die from angry brown things or we would make it to Princess Peach and Jack would drop me in the lava. I didn't feel anything, but I told Jack it hurt, so he would try harder. Finally we made it back to Princess Peach. Suddenly Luigi appeared he said "Let's go Mario". I followed his lead, and I touched Princess Peach and returned to my normal self.

When I got home that day Jack said, "I always have to get you out of trouble." "Yeah, because you always get me in it", I replied. "I'm just happy I got you out and you're safe Jacob." Jack said. "You mean happy Luigi got me out", I teased. Jack later explained he was there for only an hour. I guess the time in video games are different. That day 20 years ago brought my Jack and I closer together. And that's why I stick to board games now!

Read the sentence. They are climbing to the top of the Aztec temple. Identify the tense of the bolded verb in the sentence. pres
g100num [7]
The correct answer is present progressive.
It means that there is some progression, that something is going on at the moment when this sentence is taking place. So, they are currently climbing to the top of the Aztec temple.
Present emphatic would be 'they do climb,' basic present would be 'they climb,' and present perfect would be 'they have climbed.'

"Yes, teacher! Those were the two words I spoke more than any others when I was in mission school. They were like magic." What d
natulia [17]

Answer:

Those words were like magic because it helped him to gain approval from the teachers who punished them when they spoke their native Navajo language.

Explanation:

In the mission school which Ned gained entrance to, it was forbidden for the students to speak their native language. Students caught violating this law were punished by having their mouths washed with soap. Their native names were also replaced with English names.

Ned soon learned that whenever he was called upon by the teachers, the best way to gain their approval was to answer with the words, "Yes, teacher." Answering with his native language would earn him some serious punishment.
