Answer No 1:

Phospholipids are made up of phosphorus head and two fatty acid molecules.  These phosphorus head and fatty acid tail is joined together by glycerol. Fatty acid molecules are made up of Carbon, hydrogen and oxyge. Hence, carbon and hydrogen can be said as two other elements present in phospholipids.

Answer No 2:

The building blocks of lipids are glycerol and fatty acids.

Lipids can be described as vital organic molecules which are not soluble in water. They are made up of chains of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Someof the examples of lipids are fats and oils. Lipids are the main molecules present in an organisms cell membrane and hence have huge biological importance.

Answer No 3:

Lipids are biologically important molecules as they play very vital roles in the functioning of an organisms body. Two of the functions of lipids are:

  • Lipids and phosphorus molecules combine to form phospholipids. The phospholipids are the main molecules out of which the cell membrane is made. Hence, lipids play an essential role in providing the cell membrane its structure.
  • Lipids store energy and provide insulation to the body of an organism.

Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

The correct answer would be - the ratio of phenotypes in an organism cross will tell if the genes are linked or not.

Explanation:

In this question, we perform a test cross with a fruit fly that is heterozygous If we perform a test cross between two parents with identical heterozygous genomes AaBb.

If there is no recombination found in the offspring of this cross it means there are no linkage of genes present.  And if there are new or recombinant phenotypes present it means that there are genes linked together.

You push a heavy crate. at first it doesn't move. you push harder, and it finally starts to move, but you still have to exert so
Galina-37 [17]
Newton's first law of motion states that when there is no net external force, an object will remain at rest or travel with a constant velocity.
When an object is moving, there is a force of friction resisting the motion, and slowing it down. To maintain a constant velocity, a person must push with a force equal to that of friction, to counteract the frictional force.
Since the pushing force cancels the friction force out, there is no net external force, and so the object moves at a constant velocity

Hope I helped! xx

. Which of the following statements is true? Symmetric encryption is faster than asymmetric encryption, and it can be used to pr
romanna [79]

Answer:

Symmetric encryption is faster than asymmetric encryption, but it cannot be used to provide non-repudiation of contracts.

Explanation:

Symmetric encryption is a type of encryption where only one key (a secret key) is used to both encrypt and decrypt electronic information. Symmetric encryption uses a single key that needs to be shared among the people who need to receive the message while asymmetrical encryption uses a pair of public key and a private key to encrypt and decrypt messages when communicating. Symmetric encryption cannot be used for non-repudiation because the key is shared by both parties, making it difficult to prove who created and encrypted the document.
