An average car emits 4.7 million metric tons (MMt) of CO2 each year when it runs on gas. If corn ethanol from biomass is used in

Answer:

This is a percent change problem. The CO2 emitted by a car using gas is 4.7 MMt per year. The CO2 emitted by a car using corn ethanol made from biomass is 52% less than 4.7 MMt.

Find 52% of 4.7 MMt:

0.52 × 4.7 = 2.444.

Subtract 2.444 MMt from 4.7 MMt:

4.7 − 2.444 = 2.256.

The solution is 2.256 MMt.

sweet [91]

Answer:

The correct option is;

B. Designing experiments to replicate the conditions in which life may have first evolved on Earth

Explanation:

The proof to the hypothesis that life originated from inanimate inorganic, or non-living  molecules which is an explanation for the origin of life on Earth was provided by an experiment designed and performed in 1953 by Stanley L. Miller and Harold C. Urey which consisted of using chemicals proposed in the hypothesis and combining them through a specific design process to replicate expected atmospheric condition before the life began on Earth.

With such successful design of experiments to replicate the conditions in which life may have first evolved on Earth, it was possible to better explain the hypothesis that life originated from inorganic molecule.

When vibrational motion in an object increases, which is a true statement?
ss7ja [257]
Hello friend!!

We know that kinetic energy is the energy possessed due to the motion of the object. And we know if the object is in a fast motion then the temperature would be high, whereas if the object is slow in motion then it will have lower temperature. So we know that the kinetic energy is indirectly related to temperature. From our knowledge we can conclude that HIGHER THE TEMPERATURE, HIGHER THE KINETIC ENERGY and LOWER THE TEMPERATURE, LOWER THE KINETIC ENERGY.
Hence, the answer to your question here is,a.kinetic energy, temperature, and thermal energy increase.
Hope it helps!!All the best!!
