"You figure you can ride Ghost Wind, then get on. Just bring him back to the stable when you're finished so I can rub him down."

I dismounted, leaving the stallion with Mitchell, and headed toward the barn. Now, I truly expected that Mitchell would come after me with Ghost Wind. After all, despite my invitation, I knew Mitchell couldn't ride Ghost Wind. As far as I knew, Mitchell had never ridden more than a mule and had no idea how to ride a thoroughbred tornado like Ghost Wind. But instead of Mitchell following me, the next thing I knew, I heard a triumphant cry, turned, and saw Mitchell atop the stallion dashing across the meadow. For a moment all I could do was stand and stare. But then, as the stallion bucked, left the meadow, and headed for the woods, I suddenly found my legs and my voice, and I began running and screaming after Mitchell and the stallion. "Pull back the reins!" I hollered as I ran. "Mitchell, the reins! Pull back hard!" —The Land, Mildred D. Taylor Use the drop-down menus to answer the questions. 2. What is the experimental probability of rolling a 4
boyakko [2]

Answer:

1. 40%

2. The theoretical probability is 3% greater than the experimental probability.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are informed that a number cube is rolled 20 times and the number 4 is rolled 8 times. The experimental probability of rolling a 4 is;

(the number of times a 4 was rolled)/(total number of rolls)

8/20 = 0.4

0.4*100 = 40%

The experimental probability of obtaining at least one tails, one or more tails, is represented in mathematical notation as;

P(HT or TH or TT)

The above events are mutually exclusive, thus;

P(HT or TH or TT) = P(HT) + P(TH) + P( TT)

                               = (22+34+16)/(28+22+34+16)

                               = 0.72 = 72%

On the other hand, the theoretical probability of obtaining at least one tails,

P(HT or TH or TT) = 3/4

                              = 75%

This is because there is at least one tail in 3 out of 4 possible outcomes.

Therefore, it is true to say that the theoretical probability is 3% greater than the experimental probability.

Answer:

\boxed{

\boxed{

Step-by-step explanation:

A) If AB is a diameter, Then ACB is a 90 degrees angle because In a semi-circle (AB is a diameter which divides the circle into 2 equal parts), the angle opposite to the diameter is of 90 degrees.

So, <ACB = 90 degrees

Then <a = 180-90-28

=> <a = 62 degrees

B) The opposite interior angles of a quadrilateral inscribed in a circle add up to 180 degrees.

So,

=> <a + <b = 180

=> <b = 180-62

=> <b = 118 degrees
