The turtle is 11 and 5/12 inches deeper. (You have to change the fractions to a common denominator to be able to do any math, after that it is fairly easy) Have a good day!

jake carries a green a yellow and a black guitar pic in his pocket. he randomly chooses a guitar pic from his pocket before ever
SIZIF [17.4K]
B = Black
G = Green
Y = Yellow
The total number of ways that he can pick a pic are 3 * 3 * 3 = 27 ways
If he picks Black for the first pic The number of successful ways that he picks two in a row are
B B G
B B Y
B G G
B Y Y  Total 4 ways.
If he picks Green first the number of ways are
G G B
G G Y
G B B
G Y Y Total 4 ways
If he picks Yellow first then the number of ways are
Y Y B
Y Y G
Y B B
Y G G And again there are 4 ways

In all we have 12 successes
There are 12/27 chances of picking 2 pics in a row that are the same color.
4/9 <<<< answer

There must be some way to represent this using combinations, but I'm not sure what it is. However this method works.

A company manufacturer two types of printers, an inkjet printer and a laser printer. The company can make a total of 60 printers
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

30 inkjet printers

30 laser printers

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be inkjet printer

Let y be the laser printer

Total printer produced per day = 60

This implies that x+y = 60

The company has 120 labor hours per day. If it has 1 labor hour to make a inkjet printer and 3 labor hours to make a laser printer, we will have

x + 3y = 120

So we have

x + y = 60 ........(1)

x + 3y = 120 ........(2)

Subtract equation 1 from 2

We have

2y = 60

y = 60/2

y = 30

Put y= 30 into equation 1

x + y = 60

x + 30 = 60

x = 60 -30

x = 30

Therefore we have 30 inkjet printers and 30 laser printer.
