The answer is x=2
5(5-x)=5(2x-1)
The first thing you do is distribute both of the fives which will give you
25-5x=10x-5
The next thing to do is get both the x’s on one side so you add 5x to both sides which will give you
25=15x-5
The next step is to get the x by itself so you add 5 to both sides which will give you
30=15x
And the last step is to divide both sides by 15 which will give you
X=2

Calculer x si (x+1/2)^2= 4/9
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

x=-\frac{7}{6}\\x=\frac{1}{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation to solve is:

(x+\frac{1}{2})^2=\frac{4}{9}

To get rid of the "square", we need to take square root of both sides:

\sqrt{(x+\frac{1}{2})^2}=\sqrt{\frac{4}{9}}\\x+\frac{1}{2}=\frac{\sqrt{4}}{\sqrt{9}}

Then we use algebra to find the value(s) of x. Remember, when we take square root, we have to add up a "+-" (on the right side). Shown below:

x+\frac{1}{2}=+-\frac{\sqrt{4}}{\sqrt{9}}\\x+\frac{1}{2}=+-\frac{2}{3}\\x=\frac{2}{3}-\frac{1}{2}=\frac{1}{6}\\x=-\frac{2}{3}-\frac{1}{2}=-\frac{7}{6}

So these are 2 answers for x.

(WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST)
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

m<I=57

m<J=57

m<K=66

Step-by-step explanation:

All the angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

m<I= 3x+18

m<K= 5x+1

m<I is congruent to m<J.

We can plug the information we already know into the equation.

3x+18+3x+18+5x+1=180

11x+37=180

Subtract 37 from both sides.

11x=143

x=13

Now, we can find out what the angles are.

m<I= 3x+18

m<I=3(13)+18

m<I=39+18

m<I=57

We know that m<I=m<J, so they are both equal to 57 degrees.

m<J=57

Now for m<K:

m<K=5x+1

m<K=5(13)+1

m<K=65+1

m<K=66

We know this is correct because 57+57+66=180.

If 2y=x³ + 2x², find dy/dx when x=2.
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

\boxed{\textsf{If }y=x^n,\: \textsf{then }\dfrac{\text{d}y}{\text{d}x}=nx^{n-1}}

<u>Given equation</u>:

2y=x^3+2x^2

Isolate y by dividing both sides by 2:

\implies y=\dfrac{1}{2}x^3+x^2

Differentiate with respect to x:

\implies \dfrac{\text{d}y}{\text{d}x}=3 \cdot \dfrac{1}{2}x^{3-1}+2 \cdot x^{2-1}

\implies \dfrac{\text{d}y}{\text{d}x}=\dfrac{3}{2}x^2+2x

Finally, substitute x = 2 into the differentiated equation:

\begin{aligned} \implies \dfrac{\text{d}y}{\text{d}x} & =\dfrac{3}{2}(2)^2+2(2)\\\\ & = \dfrac{3}{2}(4)+4\\\\ & = \dfrac{12}{2}+4\\\\ & = 6+4\\\\ & = 10\end{aligned}
