  • caustic soda solution

For B, the materials needed are;

  • paper

  • wrap the meat in the paper and crush it

  • then let it dry and observer

if an oily patch is observed in the paper, then fat is present.

For C, the materials are;

  • iodine
  • dropper

- the procedure;

  • add a few drops of the iodine to the crushed potatoes

if a blue-black coloration is observed, starch is present.
