The lack of effective palliative care has many causes. This would include the lack of integration of palliative care into most health care systems, the inaccessibility of hospice care, ignorance of methods of palliative care, difficulties in obtaining narcotics, cultural and religious beliefs of the patient and family.

The nursing assistant uses an orange stick while assisting with a resident's grooming to:______.
AlekseyPX

The nursing assistant uses an orange stick while assisting with a resident's grooming to: clean the person's nails.

An orange stick is a manicure tool used for cleaning fingernails and pushing back cuticles. One end of the stick is usually pointed and slightly sharp whereas its other end is flat and arched. The stick is easy to carry and usually cheap thus enabling one to easily maintain nails while on the go.

The nursing assistant provides nail care for a resident by dipping the resident's hands in warm water in order to soften the nails, removing dirt beneath them and finally trimming the nails with a nail clipper.

Illustrate a brief distinction between accidents and risky behaviours
MrRa [10]
Hi !

The distinction between an accident and a risky behavior

An accident may be caused by something , someone else than you. You're not responsible for what happened. A car may have hurt you, you may have fallen and break your legs.....and you may be hurt by someone who has risky behaviours.

People having risky behaviours are aware of what they're doing. If something happen to them they are fully responsible.

Hope I helped !
