Answer:

See picture below

Explanation:

In order to do this, we need to understand what is happening here. As the final product is an alkene and triphenylphosphine oxide, means that the starting reaction was held using methyl-triphenylphosphine. In other words, a wittig reaction which is commonly used to convert ketones or even aldehydes into alkenes.

The first step involves, a nucleophilic attack from the triphenylphosphine to the carbonyl of the ketone.

The second step, the lone pair of the oxygen will go to the atom of phosphorus in the triphenyl to form a complex there.

Following this step into the 3rd step and final step we have a breaking of the bond C - P, and then, the oxygen along with the triphenylphosphine will leave the molecule as leaving group to form the final product.

See the picture below for mechanism and a better understanding

Hope this helps

KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

bad thing.

Explanation:

most of Greenland is an icy island with the only main population on the west coast.

Although this would probably open up more land for use; the rising sea levels are a much bigger threat comparatively with the perks of warmer climate.

A 1.52 g sample of KCIO3 is reacted according to the balanced equation below. How many liters of O2 is produced at a pressure of
ipn [44]

Answer:

0.486 L

Explanation:

Step 1: Write the balanced reaction

2 KCIO₃(s) ⇒ 2 KCI (s) + 3 O₂(g)

Step 2: Calculate the moles corresponding to 1.52 g of KCIO₃

The molar mass of KCIO₃ is 122.55 g/mol.

1.52 g × 1 mol/122.55 g = 0.0124 mol

Step 3: Calculate the moles of O₂ produced from 0.0124 moles of KCIO₃

The molar ratio of KCIO₃ to O₂ is 2:3. The moles of O₂ produced are 3/2 × 0.0124 mol = 0.0186 mol

Step 4: Calculate the volume corresponding to 0.0186 moles of O₂

0.0186 moles of O₂ are at 37 °C (310 K) and 0.974 atm. We can calculate the volume of oxygen using the ideal gas equation.

P × V = n × R × T

V = n × R × T/P

V = 0.0186 mol × (0.0821 atm.L/mol.K) × 310 K/0.974 atm = 0.486 L

Explain how muscles and bones work together to help bend the arm
vitfil [10]

Answer:

By contracting, muscles pull on bones and allow the body to move. ... For example, the biceps and triceps muscles work together to allow you to bend and straighten your elbow. When you want to bend your elbow, your biceps muscle contracts (Figure below), and, at the same time, the triceps muscle relaxes.
