Answer: 0.0004951

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Five cards are from the deck

The total number of cards in the deck is 52

total spades card is 13

We have to choose 5 cards out of 13, this can be done in

\Rightarrow ^{13}C_5

The probability of choosing 5 spade cards is

\Rightarrow P=\dfrac{^{13}C_5}{^{52}C_5}\\\\\Rightarrow P=\dfrac{1287}{2598960}=0.0004951

Anthony makes candies. First, he mixes 1 cup of cream with 2 cups of chocolate. In all, he used 9 cups of these 2 ingredients. H
krok68 [10]

Answer:

I may be wrong but 8 cups of chocolate

Step-by-step explanation:

First I looked over what I needed to do, 1 cup of cream and 2 cups of chocolate.

The next thing I did was attempt to solve it in 2 different ways, the first one being adding 1 cup of cream and 2 cups of chocolate every time, but that didn't work. The second attempt I just kept 1 cup of cream and added 6 cups of chocolate.

I added 6 because there are already 2 cups of chocolate, so that would add up to 8 cups. We didn't add any cups of cream so its still one. 8+1 is obviously 9.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a = 4

b= 1

c = 2

d =2

Leftside of equation:

No. of H molecules =  4

No. of Cl molecules =  4

No. of O molecules =  4  *4 + 8 =16 + 8 = 24

No. of P molecules = 2

Right side of equation:

No. of H molecules =  4

No. of Cl molecules =  4

No. of O molecules = 2*5 + 2 *7 = 10 + 14 = 24

No. of P molecules = 2

Travis is cutting strips of paper for a project. He needs strips that are 114 inches wide. He cut his first strip too wide. His
choli [55]

Travis cuts 125 whole 2/5 inches wide strip if the percent of error was 10% the actual length of the strips he needs to cut was 114 inches

<h3>What is the percentage?</h3>

It is defined as the ratio of two numbers expressed in the fraction of 100 parts. It is the measure to compare two data, the % sign is used to express the percentage.

We have:

The length Travis needs to cut = 114 inches

Percent of error = 10%

Let's assume he cuts x inches wide strip

So from the percent of error formula:

\rm \dfrac{x-114}{114} = \dfrac{10}{100}

\rm x = \dfrac{114}{10}+114

\rm x = \dfrac{1254}{10}\Rightarrow \dfrac {627}{5}  or

\rm x = 125\dfrac{2}{5} \ inches

Thus, Travis cuts 125 whole 2/5 inches wide strip if the percent of error was 10% the actual length of the strips he needs to cut was 114 inches
