andre [41]

The allies were most important in helping the colonists win the American Revolution. Primarily, France. France helped America because of they wanted to seek revenge on Britian as they had won the Seven Years War against France and they also hoped recoup some of the land that they had lost in that war. France also wanted to trade with the United States and believed in Freedom, all reasons why they helped the United States.

dusya [7]

Answer:

Locke was writing about legislators but Jefferson wrote about any form of government and its organization.

2. Jefferson developed his concept of the Right of the People over any form of government from John Locke's concept of original liberty. The confrontation between the legislators and the people stated in Locke's text became a principle to organize power from people's rights of safety and hapinness in the Thomas Jefferson's text.

What is segregation and why is it a bad thing?
Olin [163]
Segregation is the act of something or someone apart from others. It is basically “separation” but I think of it in a bad way. In my defense segregation is bad because it is not giving everyone the “freedom” or the equal rights they deserve. I automatically think of colored people who were segregated and they weren’t treated right at all.

nata0808 [166]
She used negative motivation. She kept talking about the bad aspects of it and how it might turn out that people were motivated to stop it. It is called negative motivation and it worked because many people accepted this and started raising more questions out of fear for their safety.
