Step-by-step explanation:

F(x) = (x + 7)³

= 3C0 * x³ + 3C1 * x² * 7 + 3C2 * x * 7² + 3C3 * 7³

= x³ + 21x² + 147x + 343.

Answer:

f(x)=x^3+21x^2+147x+343

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=(x+7)(x+7)(x+7)

= f(x)=(x^2+14x+49)(x+7)

= f(x)=(x^3+14x^2+49x+7x^2+98x+343)

= f(x)=x^3+21x^2+147x+343

What is the sum of the first seven terms of the geometric series 2 - 10 +50 -...?
Umnica [9.8K]

Answer:

26042.

Step-by-step explanation:

What's the first term of this geometric series?

2.

What's the common ratio of this geometric series?

Divide one of the terms with the previous term. For example, divide the second term -10 with the first term 2.

\displaystyle r = \frac{-10}{2} = -5.

What's the sum of this series to the seventh term?

The sum of the first n terms of a geometric series is:

\displaystyle a_1 \cdot \frac{1-r^{n}}{1-r},

where

  • a_1 is the first term of the series,
  • r is the common ratio of the series, and
  • n is the number of terms in this series.

\displaystyle 2 \times\frac{1- (-5)^{7}}{1- (-5)}=26,042.

A cell phone provider offers a plan that costs $30 per month plus $0.10 per text message sent or received. A comparable plan c
mariarad [96]

300 messages would have to be sent or received in order for the plan to cost same each month.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Cost per month = $30

Per text sent or received charges = $0.10

Let,

x be the number of texts sent or received.

A(x) = 0.10x+30

A comparable plan costs = $60 per month

Text messages are unlimited.

B(x) = 60

For the two plans to cost equal;

A(x) = B(x)

0.10x+30=60\\0.10x=60-30\\0.10x=30

Dividing both sides by 0.10

\frac{0.10x}{0.10}=\frac{30}{0.10}\\x=300

300 messages would have to be sent or received in order for the plan to cost same each month.
