What is stem cell therapy?
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

Stem cell therapy is a non-invasive treatment that aims to replace damaged cells within the body. Mesenchymal stem cell therapy can be deployed systemically via IV or injected locally to target specific sites, depending on patient needs.

Explanation:

Stem cell therapy is a form of regenerative medicine designed to repair damaged cells within the body by reducing inflammation and modulating the immune system. This phenomenon makes stem cell therapy a viable treatment option for a variety of medical conditions. Stem cell therapies have been used to treat autoimmune, inflammatory, neurological, orthopedic conditions and traumatic injuries with studies conducted on use for Crohn's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, COPD, Parkinson's, ALS, Stroke recovery and more.

effect of different feeding schedules on the survival and neural differentiation of human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem
Serga [27]

The survival or neuronal development of human embryonic or human induced pluripotent stem cells is not improved by feeding them more than five days per week.

Why does feeding not increase neuronal differentiation or cell survival?

An induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and embryonic stem cells (ESCs) can differentiate into any form of specialized human cell, ESC/iPSC-derived cell types have a lot of potential for use in regenerative medicine.

Neuroscience research can benefit from neural culture of human pluripotent stem cells. However, it is unknown what the ideal feeding schedule for these in vitro systems should be. Human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells were cultivated with medium exchange schedules of five, six, or seven days per week during two months of differentiation. We assessed the survival and neural differentiation characteristics of these cells. Through this period of culture, neither human pluripotent cell type showed any appreciable alterations in cell counts or indicators of brain development. We come to the conclusion that feeding this culture system more than five days a week is unlikely to be advantageous.

In this mass spectrum, which peak most likely represents the molecular ion?.
Finger [1]
The presence of the base peak at 45 in combination with our knowledge about the nitrogen rule suggests that the peak at m/z 60 is likely the molecular ion because even molecular ions usually produce odd molecular fragments by breaking single bonds.
