According to weber why did the spirit of capitalism not develop in china or india
STALIN [3.7K]
According to Weber, capitalism did not triumph in China because Confucianism harbored a large number of popular cults outside of a religious doctrine. This made religion more important than business and the religious mentality contributed to the development of capitalism only in the West and had no triumph in China. According to Weber in India, Hindu religious beliefs had an impact on economic behaviors that affected economic development and capitalism.

France: France wanted Germany to be partitioned into separate states, which was basically pre-brothers war Germany. They wanted the Germans to be banned from ever uniting again.
